Reinventing the way fitness is seen by exercisers, Precor keep on designing and developing gym pieces, and in 2007, they have launched the Adaptive Motion Trainer or AMT, dubbed as “a breakthrough in cardio equipment” because it adapts to every user’s motion and stride, making cardio training low impact and smooth. The company, originally named Precision Corporation, was founded by David Smith, an industrial engineer.
Precor has its many highlights in the business. In 1990, it released the first cushioned treadmill working to reduce joint and body stress during movements and formed its Commercial Products Division as well as launched Series 960 in commercial treadmills.
