The BEST Chicken Salad Recipe: How To Make A Chicken Salad in 3 min/ After GYM- Workout Recipes

This weight loss salad can be had as a filling meal for lunch or dinner, you can wrap it in iceberg lettuce for a low carb meal, or in a whole wheat bread for a student meal, and this salad can also be had as a filling for Sandwich.

 INGREDIENTS:

300 gm (2 cups) of Cooked Chicken meat, coarsely chopped.
You can use any leftover cooked chicken meat for this salad, with or without the skin. Or you can poach some boneless skinless chicken meat in salted water for this salad.

For marinating the chicken –
5-6 Garlic cloves, chopped
Small Size Ginger (1 tsp ginger powder)
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 Lemon
1 tsp vinegar (Optional)
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp fenugreek leaves (optional).

3 lettuce leaves (1/2 cup), sliced and chopped
1 Apple, cored and chopped
1 cup of chopped red onion
1 cup of chopped carrot
1 cup of chopped Cucumber
1 green chilli, chopped
1 cup of chopped tomato
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup of low fat thick Curd / Greek Yogurt
5 tbsp. Mayonnaise
3 tbsp. crushed roasted Peanuts / Almonds
2 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste.

*To poach chicken for this recipe, start with a pound of boneless skinless chicken meat, cut into large (2 to 3-inch) pieces. Bring a frying pan of 2 tbsp. of Olive oil to a rolling boil. Add the chicken to the pan, turn on the heat on low flame and cover the pan for 10 min.

* You can add any seasonal fresh vegetables of the place you live.

 Directions :
1 Prep salad ingredients: Prep all of the chicken salad ingredients and toss them together in a large bowl.

2 Make dressing: Prepare the chicken salad dressing in a separate smaller bowl. Mix together the Mayonnaise, Yogurt, and lemon juice.

Taste for the proper balance of sweetness and acidity. The salad dressing should not be too sweet nor too sour.

Add more preserves or lemon juice until you have reached the balance you want.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

3 Gently combine: Gently stir the dressing in with the chicken salad ingredients. Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed.

DELICIOUS AND HEALTHY CHICKEN SALD IS READY TO EAT..!
