ABOUT TODAY’S VIDEO:
If you’re thinking about becoming a personal trainer, the NASM-CPT is the easiest personal training certification to get. Don’t read chapters 1-4, begin with chapter 5,6,7,14. Don’t buy into their system and continue to purchase more of their certifications such as the ces, pes, fns, wls, or any other certs. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET CERTIFIED TO TRAIN PEOPLE, you need limited liability insurance. As I mention in my book, the personal training industry is a cluster fuck. Your best best to become a successful personal trainer is so go through an internship like the one Show Up Fitness Personal Training Internship in Los Angeles or La Jolla (opening Summer of 2019.) 90% of success us showing up!
The better question should be, is why get nasm certfifed? Is NASM good? Who made this decision? Great trainers learn anatomy, human movement and train clients.
