Yesterday I went for a health check at Redcar Library, and I’ll show you the results, coming up.- Indoors: Today I’m going to Redcar Library today for a health check. They tell you about your body so you can find out how healthy you are. Erm, one of the things is your risk score for cardiovascular disease. They do additional tests as well, so they do
blood pressure and pulse
BMI
diet and healthy eating and they talk about that
alchohol consumption
smoking
exercise
weightloss
blood pressure and BMI
Cholesterol
and Dementia awareness
They also give advice so you’ve got plenty of options there, and they take your bloods to actually do a lot of the tests…and once they’ve completed that (they measure round your waist and everything else, and you go on the scales) and once they’ve completed that they send the results off to your doctor in case there’s anything to flag up.
I’ll show you how I got on, and we’ll go through the information I’ve received once I’ve been in there and had my check.
