In a nutshell the best diet to lose fat is going to be the one that’s the easiest for YOU to stick to.
To find out what diet that is that a look at what foods you naturally gravitate towards, keeping the foods somewhat healthy 😉
If you find that your a natural meat eater then ket or Atkins could be an easy starting point for you, but if you find you can go days without eating animal protein then vegetarian could be better.
There is also the middle of the road which is great for people that like a little bit of everything (veggies, meat, carbs, ect…) so an IIFYM, whole 30 or paleo way could be a better fit for you.
Just remember that no matter what diet camp you follow for a fat loss diet to work you will have to eat less calories than you need.
