Ingredients:
250 Grams of Paneer
For Marinade:
¾ Cup of Curd (Dahi)
2 Teaspoons Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
1 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
Juice of ½ Lemon
1-2 Teaspoons of Oil
Salt
For Gravy:
2 Roughly Chopped Onions
2 Roughly Chopped Tomatoes
2 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
5-6 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
1-1.5 Inch of Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
10-12 Chopped Cashew Nut (Kaju)
½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
2 Teaspoons Dhana Jeera Powder
Dried Fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi)
Salt

Procedure:
1. To prepare the marinade for the paneer, in a mixing bowl, add curd, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, oil and mix well.
2. Now add the paneer cubes and mix well. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
3. Shallow fry the marinated paneer pieces well.
4. Heat some oil in a pan and add roughly chopped onions. Stir till it turns transparent.
5. Add roughly chopped tomatoes, garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies, cashews and salt.
6. Sauté them well. Cool the mixture and make a paste.
7. In a kadhai heat some oil and add the paste. Fry it well.
8. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
9. Now add turmeric powder, red chillipowder, dhana jeera powder and garam masala. Mix well.
10. Add the shallow fried paneer cubes and mix well. Add the remaining marinade and mix well.
11. Add salt as per requirement, water and mix well.
12. Add some dried fenugreek leaves and close lid to cook for 2-3 minutes.
13. Restaurant Style Paneer Tikka Masala is ready.
