Today we’re tackling a popular recent approach to eating and nutrition. We’re talking about Intuitive eating!

Intuitive eating has received a lot of attention recently, especially from those who are adamantly against our current dieting culture. It suggests that people refrain from some of the obsessive and overly constrictive tactics associated with diets and instead start to learn how to listen to their own intuitions regards how much and what to eat.

Now we certainly agree and have pointed out many of the problems associated with common dieting. But is intuitive eating the right answer? The answer is unfortunately a little more complicated than a simple Yes or No. It really depends on what we mean by intuitive eating and who the particular person asking the question is.
That’s why in this video we’re going to examine two approaches to intuitive eating: Natacha Océane vs. Food Psyche. And we’re going to try to answer the question: Should you try intuitive eating as an xtraordinary athlete?
