When i started getting fit five years ago i never imagined i would be where i am now. I started where i was and enjoyed the basic/beginner exercises without even imagining the possibilities. . .
Even though i made this a 5 year transformation video it was really only the last 2 years i was really working on more advanced skills. When i first started it wasn’t about getting bigger or having abs or anything other than optimizing my body mind and spirit. For the first 3 years i did mostly light strength training and a lot of cardio and stretching. I practiced martial arts for a good amount of my training until 2 years ago i started doing more strength training and advanced calisthenics progressions.
Don’t wait another day to start your journey.
I have only used Bodyweight Exercises to transform my body. Meaning you don’t need any equipment other than maybe a pull up bar or gym rings and you are set. Don’t waste money on gym memberships or fancy machines. Stay strong and flexible without anything other than your body. Its easy to learn when you stay dedicated and practice often.
I don’t recommend you use protein but if you do use something awesome like Hemp Protein or Brown Rice Protein. Maybe any vegan or plant based protein would be my preference in the occasion one might feel inclined.
SAY NO TO WHEY
I don’t use any supplements and I don’t count my calories. I never worry about my protein intake. I make sure not to drink sugary sports drinks with no nutrient content. I often think what you eat should have a beneficial function to your body or you shouldn’t be consuming it.
