The ‘Slimming and Beauty industry’ is one of the fastest growing industries in India. But these are not regulated industries. The people claiming life changing results from their products on the television, are not doing so on the basis of any studies or research, and are bluntly lying.

But they also know one thing, that at any point of time in the world, there are millions of people struggling with their weight issues, most of whom are absolutely ignorant about the right methods to achieve their goals. And to rake in profits, they need only a small percentage to fool. This is because, these people are always on the lookout for a miracle therapy which will help them achieve their dream bodies without any effort, in a matter of days.

Of all these fakes, if I consider the most useless and dangerous, it would be the Slimming Centres. It is the irony of our country is that instead of banning these centres, we are awarding their owners with titles like “business magnets of the year”. These centres are generally the combination of all frauds and scams together under one roof.
