Hey Guys!

Guess who is finally back home in New York City for Fashion Week! The hectic weeks of Fashion Month are about to start and I can’t wait to share all the craziness with you guys! So has anyone ever been sick on vacation or felt unwell while traveling? It’s not a fun feeling, but I found that on this trip I started to feel a lot better once we started cooking our own food. I think that when you are in control of what you are cooking, how you are cooking it, you will be able to create healthier options than what you can find at restaurants. I wanted to make this video for anyone who might be curious what a model might eat on vacation, in this case a SAFARI!

My diet while traveling the continent of Africa was very out of my control for the most part. Since we decided to stay at a camp and cook for ourselves, I was happy when I was able to control what I was putting into my body. I know we’ve talked about this and actually in my upcoming video with Pick-Up-Limes, Sadia and I talked about how we don’t like the word “Diet”, because wellness is a lifestyle. Living a healthy life is something you have to do for yourself. Who here started there wellness journey with me, can you tell me why you started and what inspired you to put your health first?

I’m really happy I felt healthy enough to film this because I wanted to show you a realistic “What I Eat In A Day As A Model” on the road so that everyone could see that you can make healthy choices anywhere in the world! I love to eat veggies, but they were no where to be found. Max and I are slowly moving more towards a plant based lifestyle, but we are going to start our first 30 day challenge and cut out sugars. Not all sugars, that would be impossible, but all added sugars, no sweets, no CHOCOLATE for me, but I’m super curious to see how my skin looks, how I feel, and my energy levels! So let me know if you have any recommendations for going a month without sugars!

I loved my trip to Africa, visiting my home country of Zimbabwe was so special, the canoe tour was a lifetime experience, and just being in the wild completely disconnected is something I would like to do more. Coming home I realized how lucky I am to be able to walk to store and buy anything that I want and need. I know how fortunate I am and I just wanted to share that with all of you. Is there anything you guys are grateful for today?

So I hope you guys enjoy this video, there is one more vlog coming up and then it’s all about FASHION WEEK! Make sure to subscribe if you haven’t and please give this video a big thumbs up! I can’t thank you guys enough for the support and I cannot believe this community has grown this much!

Anyone else want to join us on our 30 day no sugar challenge?

xx
