In today’s video Show Up Fitness teaches you about shoulder anatomy and the pectoralis major, 1 of the 17-muscles of the shoulder.
ABOUT TODAY’S VIDEO:
The pectoralis major is 1 muscles, with 3 parts: clavicular sternal and costal regions. The Origin of the Pec major is the medial 1/3 of the clavicle & sternum. They insert into the lateral lip of the bicipital groove of the humerus. The actions are: Adduction, horizontal adduction, flexion (clavicular head), extension (sternal head) and assist in anterior tilt of the scapula.
The best chest exercises for the chest are consistency and tension (lifting heavy.) If you’re looking for the block look chest, the best exercises are lower chest flies of which emphasis adduction & horizontal adduction.
