Remember eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as a kid? They were one of the best tasting snacks ever. Well, if you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, I just put together this muscle building protein shake recipe that tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Get ready to get excited!
Note: I prefer it much better with almond butter now 😁
Did I mention this protein shake is delicious, and it’s easy to make, as all you have to do is throw the ingredients into a blender! This protein shake will also help build muscle after a tough workout as it includes simple sugars to help you replenish your glycogen and protein to help rebuild your muscles.
Smells and tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that your mom made for you back in the day.
This is a delicious post-workout shake that is going to help you build muscle.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Post-Workout Muscle Building Protein Shake Recipe:
Prep Time: 1 minute
3 cubes Ice
1 serving Protein Powder (enough for 30-40g of protein)
1 tbsp plain greek yogurt (paleo substitute: 3 tbsp egg whites)
1 cup frozen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries
2/3 cup grape juice
2/3 cup Almond Milk unsweetened
1 tbsp peanut butter (paleo substitute: almond butter)
1. Blend it up and you are good to go.
