Some people have ANC issues, there is a TSB on it… Super quality tools for many years. Many years ago I bought Craftsman when thunder empire pokies Sears sold quality products; I abandoned Craftsman when they cheapened it and started selling it K-Mart. It used to be that a company would stand by their products to maintain their brand and customer reputation. I’m out living the companies that offer the lifetime warranty on most products.

A few simple cheap parts usually will make a water heater last another 5-7 years. I recently learned that replacing a water heater is unnecessary for most cases unless it was leaking water due to rust. I have to write a check to the township and give it to them. The installers said they are not told the cost until after the job. My water heater is very old but still works. Asked how big are my pipes going into the water heater because NJ changed laws a few years ago.

The cost was actually cheaper this way PLUS the fact that I have to deal with only ONE business. Now I repair guy can do it, but he doesn’t do permits and I think that is important. Would you or have you trusted Lowe’s to install a water heater? Any ideas on where to get it, or a replacement by another brand that will fit my cabinet? From what I can tell, this is a Chinese brand, and I don’t know where to find it here in the US. I have it in my truck and the build quality of the harness is excellent.
