Man United News: Ole Gunanr Solskjaer provides Romelu Lukaku fitness update ahead of Wolves FA Cup

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed Romelu Lukaku is in contention to feature for Manchester United in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter final against Wolves.  The Belgium international sustained a foot injury in the recent Champions League victory against Paris Saint-Germain and played through the pain barrier during last Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.  Lukaku had been in sensational form, scoring six times in three games before missing several gilt-edged chances at the Emirates, but Solskjaer is hopeful the 25-year-old can play a part at Molineux, given doubts around the fitness of teenager Mason Greenwood.  ‘We’re still getting players back, they’ve been training better this week,’ said United’s interim manager.  ‘Jesse [Lingard], Ander [Hererra], they’ve been training. Rom’s got a sore foot so he’ll be assessed this morning to see if he can join in.  ‘Mason [Greenwood] has been ill, so he’s not trained this week. He might be training this morning, so lets see how he is.  ‘Phil Jones is back, so we’re looking stronger. Mason has been ill, so he’s not trained this week. He might be training this morning, so let’s see how he is.’
