On August 4th, 2009, a gunman walked into LA Fitness in Collier Township, Pennsylvania not far from Pittsburgh and opened fire on a Latin dance class. At 8:15pm, the shooter entered the class, placed a duffel bag on the ground, turned off the lights, took out at least two handguns and began firing, police said. Four women were killed and nine more were injured. According to police, the gunman may have fired 52 shots before committing suicide.

This video contains the initial coverage done by KDKA-TV for CBS News. At the time, witnesses were telling police that the shooting may have been a domestic dispute between the perpetrator and a woman in the class. Later it was learned that the shooter, 48-year-old George Sodini had no ties to women in the class. Sodini left a note in his gym bag discussing his hatred for women. He also had a website and a Youtube video where he talks about years of rejections by women and extreme sexual frustration.
