The ketogenic diet is a type of low carb diet that allows you to turn your body into a fat burning machine. This diet has done wonders for people that suffer from health issues like Obesity and Diabetes. It also is a great way to train your body to be prepared for survival situations where food might be scarce or a scenario where you are lost in the woods away from a food source. It just simply promotes a better quality of life while maintaining energy throughout the day.
