Sales and marketing is really a numbers game. The more people you meet, the more you increase your chances of building your client book. If you are just beginning your fitness business than set up sales goals. Make an attempt to meet 100 new potential clients in the next 60 days.
If you are just starting off and you have no one to train/consult or work with, that’s okay. Just start taking action.
TRAIN FOR FREE
If you are new, offer to train people for free. That’s right, volunteer your services until you get a paying client.
GET FRIENDLY WITH CLIENTS
Get friendly with all clients. Connect on Facebook and Instagram, comment on their content, send them a link to a nutrition fact, exercise video or protein smoothie recipe.
MAKE IT A PARTY. GROUP TRAIN
Ask your clients to bring a friend and group train. The more people you work with, the better. Make it even more fun and take outdoors.
OVER DO IT.
Do more than you need to. Be very generous with your time in the beginning. Go above and beyond to help your clients lose weight and get strong.
DON’T STOP LEARNING
Set aside an hour a day to stay on top of new ways to motivate people, health trends and scientific studies.
GET OUT AND STAY OUT
Go out as often as you can. Go to parties, meet ups, events, farmer’s markets.
