Healthy Homemade Masala/ Spices Recipes | How to make Chaat, gravy, tea, Masala at Home| In Hindi

Adding little bit of spices to your dishes will not only help you enhance the taste and flavours, but you also get Benefited from the medicinal properties of all these healthy spices. However, buying readymade Masala from the stores will not give you all that. They are loaded with sodium, have tiny oils left in them, full off preservatives, artificial flavours and what not!!! Than why buy them, if you can make all the essential spices used in an Indian kitchen at home, Here are some easy to make recipes of Homemade spices.

1. Homemade Chaas/lassi/Buttermilk and Chaat Masala

Ingredients:-
Black rock salt (60g)
Pink salt ( 50g)
Cumin seeds / jeera ( 100g)
Black pepper (25g)
Cloves/Laung ( 10g)
Cinnamon/dalchini (5g)
Cardamom/ choli elaichi (5g)

How to make Chaas Masala :-
Slightly Roast all the spices separately ( except salts) let them cool
Grind the spices on high powder once, add salt and grind again. Your homemade Chaas Masala is ready.

2. To make Chaat Masala:-
Add homemade Amchur / dry mango powder( 25g) to the mixture

3. Homemade chai/tea Masala for summers

Ingredients:-
Fennel seeds /saunf (80g)
Black pepper (25g)
Cloves (20g)
Cardamom (10g)
Cinnamon (10g)
(Optional) (5-10g each)
Star anise
Mace
Nutmeg

Directions :-
Add all the spices in a grinder and grind until smooth.

4. Mukhwas/ mouth freshner post meal digestive Masala

Ingredients:-
Fennel seeds/ saunf (80g)
Rock sugar /mishri ( 30g)
Cardamom (20g)
Nutmeg/ jaiphal (10g)
Dry Ginger powder (10g)

Directions:- slightly dry roast all the above ingredients (except rock sugar), let them cool
Than mix and grind everything to a smooth texture. Eat it post meal for good digestion.
