#KrisGethin #healthyrecipes Some scientists call the gut our “second brain”. Your gut microbiome is more important than you know. If we have a healthy gut, we have a healthy brain. In order to maintain a healthy gut microbiome we need to feed it foods that will help keep the bad bacteria at bay and encourage good bacteria. Making homemade coconut yogurt is one of my favorite ways to help keep my gut happy and healthy. Try it out for yourselves and let me know how you feel.
Healthy Homemade Coconut Yogurt Recipe
Ingredients:

10 caps BioOptimizers (get it for free here (all you have to do is pay for shipping):
2 cans organic coconut milk (
1 tablespoon organic maple syrup (
2-3 heaping tablespoons Organic Prebiotic Fiber (
1 tbsp Vitamin C (
2 scoops Kaged Muscle Supps Fermented Glutamine (
1 tablespoon Great Lakes Gelatin (
Instructions:
But everything into a blender and mix until smooth. Check the consistency. If it is too watery add a little more fiber, gelatin, and Vitamin C.
Once you have reached a thick consistency place into mason jars. Now the yogurt needs to ferment for a total of 48 hours. For the first 24 hours leave out at room temperature. For the last 24 hours put in the fridge. After 48 hours mix the yogurt and enjoy 2-4 tablespoons in the morning. Please note this is a high calorie food.
