FT Norwell Trainer Joe & The Goblet Squat: The Goblet Squat is a compound lower body exercise concentrating heavily on the quadriceps, hamstring, and gluteal muscles. Due to the upright stance of this style of squat it also activates your core muscles. To do this exercise you grab the top of a dumbbell supporting the weight with your palms. Point your toes slightly out diagonal and deep squat until the points of your elbows hit your thighs. This exercise should be done anywhere from 8-15 repetitions depending on the level of resistance used.
