RESEARCH:
The Hall research (basis for Dr. Fung’s assertions): Note that I think I ended up having to pay for this, but, nevertheless, here’s the link to find it (it’s a chapter in a book on fasting).
The Ball research (basis for Dr. Greger’s assertions): Note that I think I ended up having to pay for this one, too.
I wish I had a way to get these articles to you for free, but I don’t. My video was the best way I could talk to you about the research in a free way for you to know about it without having to pay for it.

Here is exactly what I put in *my veggie broth when I’m fasting*:
A bunch of raw spinach (probably at least 100 grams)
1/2 onion, roughly chopped
Approximately 3 liters of water
1/4 tsp cayenne (optional; I do this for taste)
1 tsp potassium chloride (“No Salt”)
1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1 tsp sodium bicarbonate (a.k.a baking soda)
1/2 tsp magnesium sulfate (a.k.a. Epsom salt) – FOOD GRADE
