About Katya Elise Henry

Are you ready to workout with me? First things first, I’m Katya (‘Kah-tee-yah”) and together we are about to reach your health and fitness goals! This is all about YOU, but here are a few things about me and how this all started…

My journey started when I was at a place probably very similar to where you are right now. I knew how I wanted to look, and I knew that I really wanted to look like that, but I didn’t know where to start. Workouts By Katya was born out of my motivation to inspire and empower everyone to be their best. My vision is to provide you with the best workout programs and information to allow you to be your very best.

I was blessed with a Mom who is an amazing personal trainer, and a Dad who has always been involved in sports and weight training. Growing up, I was always active and generally fit. My childhood dream was to be a cheerleader, and I pursued this goal until it was achieved when I turned 18!

As I grew older, I started to develop an understanding of the way I wanted to look. My main sources of motivation came from my mom and sister, but also from myself. I know that my fitness journey will never stop – improvement is constant and never-ending!

The more I learnt about nutrition, training and supplementation, the more I fell in love with it. My lifestyle was changing and so was my body! The more consistent I was, the more progress I made, and I realized that this is what I was truly passionate about. As my confidence in training grew, I started to get approached by my family and friends to help change their bodies too. I guess you could say that this is where it all began!

I soon realized that seeing progress in others is even more satisfying than seeing my own progress! It was an amazing feeling to see that my unique approach to fitness was helping others to get such amazing results.

As I started to help more and more people, it became clear that I wouldn’t have the time or resources to physically make this happen. At the time, I was a little discouraged that I couldn’t help everyone. I dreamt of becoming an online trainer and positively influencing thousands of people from all over the world, but it was a big dream for a small girl from Miami!

Fast forward to today, and I am blessed to be doing what I’m doing. My love for health and fitness has evolved, and I have been lucky enough to travel the world and build my dream. Workouts By Katya is a combination of everything that has worked for me, compiled in a way that will work for you. With positivity, dedication and consistency, I know you will achieve your goals!

I wouldn’t have reached my body goals without applying the education I have developed over years of experimenting with different types of exercises. Through this process, I’ve discovered what works, and what doesn’t. I truly believe in the value of the right combination of resistance exercises, body weight work, yoga, carefully programmed cardio and, of course, doing training you enjoy!

I have several workout programs available to allow you to build the body that you have always dreamed of, no matter your goals! These programs allow you to train at home or in the gym, whichever suits you best. And now you can combine my training and nutrition strategies for the ultimate approach, exclusively through my Workouts By Katya iPhone App. I created all of these programs with the goal of helping you make fitness and nutrition a part of your lifestyle because I believe that getting healthy should be fun and motivating, not boring and overwhelming.
