If you are struggling with binge eating I have been there too…my prayer and my heart for you is that you would be set free in your soul and no longer feel the need to restrictively eat or obsess about food. A healthy day of eating is not just what’s on your plate but what’s going on in your heart…I found true freedom when I gave up my desire for a “perfect body” when I realized that what I really wanted was JOY. And joy doesn’t come from my reflection in the mirror or my jean size…I found joy when I learned to honor God with my body. He set my soul free and I learned to live a healthy lifestyle not according to my standards but His. I focused on inner beauty and that changed my life from the inside out. I stopped following a meal plan and started listening to my inner God-given guide: eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full! Sounds so simple but for years I ignored my own body cues and followed a meal plan, that wasn’t a good plan after all…Just know that I love you and I’m praying for you! Grain-Free Granola
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup pecans
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
a sprinkle of salt + cinnamon
bake at 325F for 10 mins then flip and bake another 5-10 mins cool and enjoy!
