1-20oz can of pineapple chunks in pineapple juice
1cup brown rice
½ c light brown sugar – packed
½ white vinegar
½ tsp. garlic minced or a few dashes of garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
2 tsps. soy sauce
1 medium green/yellow/red bell pepper cut into pieces
2 carrots slices if you like
2 tablespoons cold water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
All purpose flour for dredging (about ½ cup)
1 teaspoon plus a little more to season the chicken
Olive oil or vegetable oil
Paper towels
A piece of foil
