This is a simple high protein vegan recipe and an easy way to add extra protein to a dip or spread.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup red lentil dry, soaked overnight
A handful of basil leaves
1 medium-sized tomato, diced
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp olive oil
The juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp olives
A big pinch of salt & pepper and garlic powder
Instructions:
1. Boil the lentils until ready (about 15 minutes).
2. Drain and rinse well.
3. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend into a paste.
4. Use as a spread or dip.
