Recipe: Lime and Garlic Shrimp
20 Shrimp
3 Limes
5 Pressed Garlic Cloves
Pinch or more Cayanne Pepper
A turn or dash of Sea Salt and Pepper
Top of Garnish with Fresh Basil and or cilantro
Note: some coconut oil in the marinade might help…. Just sayin’.

The weather is getting warmer and that always inspires me to fire up the grill. This week I want to show you a tasty recipe…Lime and Garlic Shrimp. Lime and garlic is just a magical flavor combination, and shrimp is a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals which makes it a great addition to your summer BBQ menu. Shrimp is packed with Selenium, which has been associated with cancer prevention, and full of vitamins D and B12. Shrimp is also a great source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which are key in protecting against cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and maintaining a healthy nervous system. But as always, we need to make sure to purchase the highest quality food possible. So, for this recipe we are going to take 15 or so large wild Shrimp and marinate them for about an hour with 3 squeezed Limes, 5 large pressed Garlic cloves, and to add some heat a pinch or 3 of some Cayenne pepper, then a turn or dash of sea salt and black pepper. Then we are going to Skewer the shrimp and throw them on a hot grill. Grill Your shrimp until they look consistently pink and garnish with some fresh basil and or cilantro.
