So, I found out in October that a lot of my hormones were out of whack, which explained my fast recent weight gain, despite consciously eating a really clean diet. I was at a point where I felt so out of control of my own body, depressed, and kind of embarrassed (partly due to other side effects of my condition, but mostly because of the weight gain). I was about 15-20 pounds heavier than my previous heaviest weight. It felt terrible, but I decided to do something about it, because I knew sitting around and sulking wasn’t going to help. Even though I have yet to see a significant difference physically, I feel AMAZING on the inside, and that’s what’s really important to me right now. I haven’t had any spikes of depression in months, I have a lot more energy, and I’m a lot more physically fit.

Honestly, it’s taking a lot of courage to include those clips of my body and putting parts that I’m not proud of on display – but you know me, I love to keep it real. Let me know if you’d like periodic updates or any other fitness-related videos. I’d love to help inspire or motivate you!
