Filipino Ginataang Hipon recipe (shrimp cooked in coconut milk) Filipino cooking channel in English

Filipino Ginataang Hipon recipe is a wonderful Filipino shrimp recipe cooked in coconut milk from my Filipino cooking channel in English.

With the heat of the chilli pepper and the creaminess of the coconut milk, the dish comes across as a mild curry. A great prawn/ shrimp curry recipe.

Ingredients to make this Ginataang Hipon are:

500g Prawns
2 Cloves of Garlic chopped
1 large Onion chopped thinly
1 Thumb size ginger cut in half then cut into thin slices
1 Large Tomato chopped
200ml Coconut milk
3 tbsp Fish sauce
1 tsp Lemon juice
3 tbsp Cooking oil
2 Red chili peppers
Pinch ground black pepper

Prep time to cook this wonderful shrimp cooked in coconut milk 10 minutes and 10 minutes cooking time.

Serves 2
