Hey everyone! For todays shoot I rented out this rain room location and it was epic! In this video I describe how I worked with the lighting and how I overcame the difficulties I faced. Overall it was a great shoot and I ended up with great photos for my photography portfolio. Derek is a fitness/fashion model based out of Los Angeles, CA. He was such a burst of energy (in a good way) In this type of situation I knew I wanted a model who could move around alot and someone who is a fitness person. Derek was the perfect model because he just kept going! I had him jump, spin, dance, punch, and he really gave it his all. Which as photographers, there’s nothing better than working with a model who is going all out and really putting energy into the shoot. This room was painted black, which I actually really loved because black sucks out the light and creates more shadows and contrast. Which can be good or bad depending on the situation. I brought with me my Profoto light because I wanted to be able to control the light in the room. As photographers, we like to control the light and have it working with us rather than against. Thank you all so much for watching and if you have any questions about this shoot please comment them down below and I will try my best to answer.
