Best Gym Equipment for Small Budget (Minimal $$$ = Max Fitness Equipment!)

So you want to invest in yourself this season but don’t have the money to buy the top of the line gear, well you don’t need expensive gym equipment when you can get these great tools for your gym at a fraction of the cost! Many people think getting the most expensive set of barbells means they’re going to get stronger, well that’s just not the case. If you have your average at home set or even a set you picked up from a family friend or even a thrift store you can make them even better by using fat grips. They change the mode and push your body to hold the weight differently so your forearms get stronger! Don’t sleep on what these grips can do for you and be sure to incorporate tempos, chaotic implements, and timed sets to grow your fitness level!

Now, most people who want to get stronger think they need to get a super nice bench for yourself at home. While there is a case for getting a nice bench that has pegs for bands or possibly pins so you are protected you can’t lockout on that last set if you buy a set of nice bands for yourself you can change your average bench press into an elite fitness machine for anyone at any level of fitness. Using bands that Elite FTS makes will allow you to change the mode once again whether you’re using the lightened method or using them to focus on your lockout, they will take your bench to the next level.

How about a rowing machine? They can be thousands and thousands of dollars to grab yourself a mid-level one. We have a solution that will get you doing rows, tricep raises, and more arm exercises without spending major $$$ and that’s by using a sled and a long walkway. Just put the weight you normally would on the sled for a row or exercise of your choice and then you can use the sled to target the specific areas for cheap!

Lastly, bamboo bars are great for training heavy, but when you can’t afford to spend hundreds of dollars on a bar that has a very specific use for only a certain few exercises you can turn to your local hardware store and get a nice long pipe of PVC. It’s perfect for rep sets and allows you to build muscle without spending major $$$.
