Ingredients of Chicken Rezala:
1. Chicken (750 gm).
2. Onion paste (3 medium sizes).
3. Ring onions (2 medium sizes).
4. Ginger garlic paste (2 tbsp).
5. Plain yogurt (200 gm).
6. Poppy seeds paste (1 tbsp poppy seeds).
7. Cashew paste (15 cashew nuts).
8. Garam masala.
9. 5 Dry red chilli.
10. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
11. Chopped green chilli 5 no).
12. Salt (as per your taste).
13. Sugar (as per your taste).
14. Refined oil (4 tbsp).
15. Ghee (2 tbsp).
16. Black pepper powder (½ tsp).
Methods of how to prepare Chicken Rezala:
1. First marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp yogurt, ½ tsp black pepper powder, ½ tsp salt and 2 tbsp refined oil. Mixed it very well. Keep it in freeze for minimum 1 hour.
2. Heat the pan and add 1 tbsp ghee and 2 tbsp refined oil in it.
3. Add garam masala and 5 dry red chillis. Fry for 10 to 15 sec.
4. Add onion paste. Fry it very well.
5. Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Fry for 2 min in medium flame.
6. Add poppy seeds paste and cashew nuts paste. Fry for 1 min in high flame.
7. Add chopped green chilli and plain yogurt. Mixed it well.
8. Add ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
9. Add marinated chicken. Mixed it well.
10. Cook in high flame for 4 to 5 min.
11. Add 2 cups water. When boiling cover it for 15 min in medium flame. Stir between twice.
12. After 15 min add onions rings. Cover it again for 5 min.
13. Now cook in high flame.
14. Taste it. Add more salt and sugar as per your taste.
15. Add ½ garam masala powder. Mixed it well.
16. Spread 1 tsp ghee and put off the gas oven.
17. Cover it for 5 min.
18. Serve hot Chicken Rezala with hot roti, paratha, naan, kulcha etc.
