No time for lengthy workouts? If you only have a few minutes here and there to fit in exercise, then try this fit tip – do 3-minute commercial break workouts! When you are watching TV, or just have a few minutes after work or between chores, fit in 3-5 minutes of activity to keep you moving and burn a few calories.
Try doing 1 minute of squats, a 1-minute plank, and 1-minute of push-ups during every commercial break. Also, keep equipment around for when you have 20-30 minutes before or after work. A medicine ball, kettlebell, resistance bands, and ab wheel are some great options to challenge your muscles and help you gain strength in the short time that you have to keep fit. You can also do cardio bursts at home, like burpees, mountain climbers, skaters, and jumping jacks or jump rope.
